What a way to round off another fantastic season of Tuesday night sailing at the Island Sailing Club! Bang & Go Back delivered everything you could want from a summer sailing finale – competitive racing, plenty of fun, fantastic fancy dress and a brilliant atmosphere at the club house.
The fleet took to the water for the final race of the season, with crews embracing the fancy-dress theme and bringing plenty of colour, creativity and character to the evening. There was a great buzz around the Club as boats battled it out on the water before returning to shore for the celebrations.
Then it was time to swap sailing gear for party mode, with the much-anticipated prize giving celebrating the achievements, successes and, of course, the more entertaining moments of the season. Prizes were awarded to some very worthy winners, giving everyone another reason to raise a glass and celebrate.
The BBQ Hatch supper was the perfect accompaniment, with members and crews enjoying great food, drinks and plenty of laughs as the evening continued.
