Cowes Week 200 promises to be a spectacular milestone regatta on the Isle of Wight, celebrating two centuries of world-class sailing in the very waters where the event first began. As one of the most iconic fixtures in the international sailing calendar, the atmosphere across Cowes will be electric — with thrilling racing by day and vibrant shoreside activity throughout the week. It’s a time when the town truly comes alive, welcoming sailors, supporters and visitors from around the globe to experience the unique blend of competitive sport and social tradition.
At the Island Sailing Club, Kate Case, the General Manager, Ian Pretty, Commodore and the office team are currently finalising an exciting programme of events designed to ensure members can fully enjoy the club during this busy and prestigious week. Highlights will include the ever-popular Annual Taittinger Champagne Reception, the much-anticipated Lobster Lunch, and the relaxed and sociable Members’ BBQ. Alongside these favourites, plans are underway to introduce some new and exciting events for 2026, adding fresh energy to the celebrations. With prime views of the racing and a vibrant calendar of social occasions, the club will once again be at the heart of Cowes Week festivities. Watch this space!
