Last month, we were pleased to restart our Sonar Business Day giving Isle of Wight businesses the chance to get out on the water and race against each other using our fleet of sonars. The Island Sailing Club has previously run racing days for teams from local businesses to have a go at sailing and see the benefits the club offers to the local community. Races followed a triangular course just off the Cowes breakwater so everyone could view from the balcony of the Island Sailing Club. The first three boats from each knockout race were entered into a further two races for a chance to win the Sonar Cup.
The event was a great success and we are happy to talk to any businesses who would like to take part in future business days, or join the Island Sailing Club as corporate members.
We had several volunteers for this event who we would like to thank for their time and professionalism.
