NORTH SAILS COWES WEEK DAY 5

Day five of North Sails Cowes Week brought another fantastic atmosphere to the Island Sailing Club, with the club’s terraces buzzing throughout the day. Members, guests and visiting yachtsmen enjoyed the sunshine, spectacular views across the Solent and the excitement of another day of racing.

The pontoon was particularly busy, with yachtsmen arriving and departing throughout the day, creating a lively scene around the club. Days like this are only possible thanks to the incredible team behind the scenes, and the Island Sailing Club would like to extend a huge thank you to Club Sailing Officer Ben Ferris and the dedicated team of volunteers who give their time and energy throughout Cowes Week. Their hard work and commitment ensure the club continues to run smoothly during one of the busiest weeks of the sailing calendar.

The club also welcomed visitors to the Brian Marriott Cowes Week 200 Bicentenary Exhibition, held in the Elizabeth II Room on the Top Deck. Featuring 20 unique pieces commemorating 200 years of Cowes Week, the exhibition offers a fascinating celebration of the event’s remarkable heritage.

The exhibition runs daily until Friday 7th August, with the artist in attendance from 11am to 6pm each day. Visitors should simply let security know at the ISC reception door that they are visiting the exhibition. Brian Marriott Glass Art
