What a way to bring North Sails Cowes Week to a spectacular close at the Island Sailing Club! After a week filled with incredible sailing, fantastic events and unforgettable moments, the final day was the perfect celebration of everything that makes Cowes Week at the Club so special.
From the opening Taittinger Champagne Party to the final evening, the Island Sailing Club has once again proved why it is recognised as one of the best places to enjoy Cowes Week. With its unrivalled views across the Solent, superb sailing right in front of the Club and an outstanding programme of events, the Club has been at the heart of the action throughout the week.
The final evening saw members and guests come together for the much-anticipated Mermaid Gin BBQ. With great food, fantastic company and a wonderful atmosphere, it was the perfect way to round off an exceptional week. As darkness fell, guests enjoyed one of the best vantage points in Cowes for the spectacular Cowes Week fireworks display. With the Solent providing the perfect backdrop, the fireworks brought the week to a truly memorable conclusion.
Behind the scenes, however, the success of Cowes Week doesn’t happen without an enormous amount of hard work. A huge thank you must go to the Island Sailing Club’s Front of House team, David and his team worked tirelessly throughout the week to welcome members and guests, deliver exceptional service and keep everything running smoothly.
Our thanks also go to Kate, the clubs General manager and the Club’s Office Team, whose planning, organisation and dedication have helped deliver such a fantastic Cowes Week programme. From coordinating events to managing the many details behind the scenes, their hard work has been instrumental in making the week such a success.
North Sails Cowes Week 2026 may now be over, but what a week it has been. Amazing sailing, fantastic events, great food, friendship and unforgettable views – the Island Sailing Club has once again delivered a Cowes Week to remember.
