In accordance with the position set out by World Sailing and the RYA, The Island Sailing Club has suspended participation of Russian and Belarusian boats and officials in all our regattas and events until further notice. Whilst we recognise that the invasion of Ukraine is not necessarily being undertaken with the approval of the Russian people, it is nonetheless the policy of the Club to mark our disapproval of this unjustified war which has been instigated on the orders of Vladimir Putin.
